Operating under an ordinary stay and under day surgery program, degenerative, inflammatory and traumatic pathologies of the osteo-articulation structure are diagnosed and treated with traditional, arthroscopic, combined and minimally invasive approaches.
Since 2004 a diagnostic-therapeutic-protocol (PDT) has been in place, specifically for the treatment of fractures of the femoral neck in the elderly, the only example of geriatric-orthopaedics collaboration in Liguria, the results of which have been appreciated nationwide.
From this positive outcome a new "enlarged Ortho-Geriatric Project" was initiated: PDT activities were defined and implemented for the most frequent fragility fractures in the elderly and for the principal fractures in adults.
